The NYSBC is a member of the United States Breastfeeding Committee. Each state and territory is represented on the USBC by their coalitions. For a list of state coalitions visit.

The NYSBC is a statewide coalition made up of individuals, organizations, and local coalitions.

Paid Organizational Members

In 1997, the perinatal networks came together to form the Association of Perinatal Networks of NY. The purpose of the APN is to highlight the benefits and improvements many NYS communities have experienced as a result of the individual perinatal networks and to broaden the awareness of continuing perinatal health needs in NYS.

The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene has many services that support breastfeeding for mothers and families living within the metropolitian area.  Read more about their services on their website.

Child Care Council is a Child Care Aware (R) Quality Assured agency that provides information, training, and resources to child care providers and parents living in Livingston, Monroe, and Wayne counties in NYS. Learn more about our new organizational member.
